Here is Kojo's story: After long admiring Deb Martino's (Kokopelli) bitch, PJ...aka Ch. Kokopelli's Piper Mirage, and seeing she had puppies, I immediately contacted Deb. The pups were about 5 weeks old at the time and Deb had Kojo (the laid back one), sister Lulu (very bullish & wild), and brother Bing (also very bullish & wild). I wanted Lulu but that was a definite NO, then I said I wanted Kojo and she said, with Lulu & Bing at each other all the time, she didn't know if she could deal with two personalities like that, so she'd probably end up keeping laid back Kojo, so I could have Bing. I said ok cause I wanted a puppy from PJ. At around 8 weeks, Deb said she fell absolutely in love with Bing and couldn't let him go, so I could take Kojo. Deb's husband Bob, flew from Arizona to Philadelphia and brought along the cutest puppy I'd ever seen.
Kojo was the consumate laid back
puppy for maybe 2 days, then......all hell broke loose. Was I
MISINFORMED, I got an 8 week old puppy with springs, he would leap in
your arms from a stand still, race around constantly and when you said
his name in that cutsie little voice, just went berserk. Kojo
beats up on Sorrie all the time but they are best buddies, and now
they are CRAZY together!!!
When Deb & Bob came to the AWC Eastern Specialty we had a "family reunion", and lo and behold, Kojo went BALLISTIC and peed all over them when he saw them. We all had to laugh at this little "laid back" puppy that was sent to me. Kojo is an absolute crazy but joyful puppy to live with as he's always into something, much like my son Tyler. I have to thank Deb & Bob for sending me this bundle of ENERGY.....where ARE the batteries????
