Ch. Broadstrider's Gorgeous
George...aka Jimmy-George
4/27/91 - 9/17/04

Jimmy was a once in a lifetime
dog for me. He came to me at 1-1/2 years old already pointed from the Bred-by
class. I showed him myself to his championship rather quickly. I can remember
each and every win I had with him as this was a very special time for me, being
fairly new in Whippets. We had a wonderful bond and it was so very hard to see
him get old, knowing his kidneys were failing, and there was nothing I could do
other than give him his meds, which did nothing and he hated taking them.

My fondest memories of Jimmy-George are taking him for his long walks in the woods behind my parent's house, sitting there over-looking and just enjoying the creek rushing by. He is now buried at that special spot, and he will have to watch over the creek now without me.
He will live on in his wonderful offspring, Dusty, Beatrix, Teddy, upcoming stars Felix & Sorrie (???), and especially Zoey, a 4-time BIS winner. I am very thankful to Doug & Ruth Broadfoot for allowing Jimmy-George to come to Pennsylvania, for without him, Eclipse just wouldn't be the same.
In Honor of a Good Dog, Jimmy-George
